Ciccolella, Joseph, 50, of Totowa, NJ, formerly of Ridgefield, NJ, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family and friends on February 2nd, 2012. Beloved son of Clara Ciccolella (nee D’Agostino) and the late Joseph Ciccolella. Survived by his devoted family: his brothers, John Ciccolella and his wife Dawn, David Ciccolella and his wife Tricia, and Thomas Ciccolella and his wife Morvarid. His sisters, Jacqueline Laurenzano and her husband Joseph, Annie Esposito and her husband James, and Maria Correra and her husband Anthony. Joseph is also survived by his nieces Alexandra, Juliana, Kayla, Ciara and Isabelle, and his nephews Joseph, Jeremy, Anthony, Nicholas, James and Thomas. Joseph lived everyday with energy, even after he was diagnosed with cancer three years ago. He was an inspiration and a source of strength to all who knew him. Joseph’s family would like to thank everyone who assisted him during his life, especially his extended family and friends at North Jersey Developmental Center. Gillease, Bertha E. (Birdie), 89, formerly of Ridgefield, NJ, passed away on Thursday, December 15, 2011 at her apartment in Cathedral Village, Philadelphia, PA. Born in Jersey City, she lived in Ridgefield for forty-five years where she was active in the community and made many beloved friends. Beloved mother of Janet Emily Gillease of Philadelphia, PA, wife of the late Robert Gillease, cherished cousin of the late Myrt McConser and beloved friend of Florence Kilpatrick of Maywood, NJ. Fallo, Philip A., of Ridgefield, NJ, entered into eternal rest on January 4, 2012 at the age of 88. Devoted husband of Marion Fallo. Beloved father of Phil Fallo Jr. of New York City and his wife Rebecca Tyler, Christopher Fallo of Hackensack, and Geraldine Fallo of Hoboken. Loving brother of Frieda Kozarich of Lyndhurst. Phil was a devoted Roman Catholic. He was very active parishioner of St. Matthew’s Church, Ridgefield, serving in the past as parish council president, member of the Holy Name Society and the Eucharistic Adoration Group, coordinator of Lectors and founder and coordinator of the Funeral Ministry Team. He also served as treasurer of Senior Citizens of Ridgefield, was a member of the American Legion Post 221, Ridgefield and served on the Board of Education, Ridgefield. He was also a US Army Veteran of World War II. He was distribution manager of consumer products for Smithkline Beecham, Clifton. Eckel, Adam Kenneth Eckel, Jr., 85, formerly of Little Ferry, NJ, died Sunday, November 6, 2011 at Rolling Hills Care Center in Lebanon, NJ. He was the son of deceased Adam and Clara Eckel of Little Ferry, NJ. He is survived by sister Alice Eckel Albanese and brother- in-law Thomas of Palisades Park and brother Donald Eckel and wife Zina of Paramus. He is also survived by 4 nieces and 6 nephews and 8 grand nieces and 6 grand nephews. Devoted husband of the late Edeltraude who died in 2001. Loving brother of Harold of Toms River, NJ, the late Karsten August, and the late Guenther. Dear brother-in-law of Irmgard, and other brothers-in law and sisters-in-law. Loving uncle of Loretta, Sylvia, Svenja, Karsten-Helge, and many other nieces, nephews and lifelong friends.
